I have spent way too much time in front of a computer. After graduating in Fine Art in ’98 I decided that I wasn’t suited to fast food work and chose to pursue my love of the internet professionally, a decision I have never regretted. Over the last 11 years I have had many incarnations including Creative Director of New Media for Redhouse Lane and Production Manager of MinistryofSound.com, I founded Kempt in early 2003. Kempt are a digital marketing and production company who specialise in building and promoting Viral Advergames for a range of clients including Sony Europe, King of Shaves, NBC Universal, and MTV to name a few. Our games receive many millions of visits every month. In addition we run a casual online game portals, KillerViral.com and TinyMania.com and viral tracking system MemeCounter.com which is fast becoming the de facto standard for tracking viral games in the UK.

  • Announcing the Shortlist – BIMA Awards 2009

It’s with great pleasure that I can announce the shortlist for the 2009 BIMA awards.

The standard this year was exceptionally high which is reflected in a 10% increase in average score and we’re also proud to have attracted entries from approximately 30% more agencies than last year so it was a tough field.

I’d like to offer my congratulations to the shortlisted agencies and thank the many high quality entries that weren’t lucky enough to make it through. I think we can all be very proud of the incredibly high standard of work produced by the UK industry as a whole particularly in such difficult time for business. It’s a cliché, but clearly adversity breeds creativity…
