Kathy is an independent consultant in technology partnerships, and loves to connect people and businesses to help them to develop and innovate. Her understanding of building effective alliances comes from over nine years in IT, first with Sun Microsystems, and then with ioko, the UK systems integrator behind the Sky Player, 4OD and Seesaw TV. With a French and Business degree from Sheffield University under her belt, Kathy became hooked on digital media in the days before Windows, mobile phones and the world wide web, running sales and marketing in the early 90s for a company designing digital imaging, graphics and video hardware for the British Acorn market. This inspired a return to education to study Computer Science in 1998. She also contributed freelance articles to the Acorn press, and taught desktop and web computing to children at Futurekids. Besides her desire to contribute to the health and wealth of Digital Britain, Kathy is also a human rights activist. She lives in Farnham, Surrey and is a member of Digital Surrey and the global Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals.http://www.sevencsconsulting.com
