BIMA Hot 100 2014

Last Thursday saw the UK’s digital leaders meet up and celebrate the BIMA Hot 100 in association with Microsoft Mobile.

The evening also revealed the new inductees to the Digital Hall of Fame 2014, honouring lifetime achievement in British digital.

The evening was an overwhelming success. It was a surprise that with so many digital elite under one roof the room didn’t implode with excitement. As is tradition, the night was filled with fine conversation, humorous speeches and plenty of fizz to keep us suitably hydrated.

Adam Graham kicked things off with the Chairman’s welcome speech, followed by Matt Pilgrim’s rundown of this year’s BIMA Hot 100, and boy was it a good’un. Please check out our book for profiles of the full list of BIMA Hot 100.

But we didn’t stop there. The evening swiftly moved on to the highly anticipated announcement of our Digital Hall of Fame inductees. We would like to offer huge congratulations to this year’s newly inducted members: Brent Hoberman; Kate Burns; Sir Martin Sorrell; and Wayne Arnold. A big thank you to them for their lifetime efforts and continued commitment to developing and evolving the face of our industry. Check out our Digital Hall of Fame book to see what makes them tick, and an exclusive interview Q&A with each of the worthy inductees.

An evening as exciting as this wouldn’t have been complete without a photo or two so please feel free to take a look at what the event looked like through the lens here.

Video’s will be released shortly so keep an eye on @bima for updates on when they will be going live.

The evening wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our wonderful sponsors Microsoft Mobile, Six Degrees Group, TDA Digital and the support from our production partner AMOVEO and our supporting partner Audio Network. A big thank you for your continued support and efforts that went in to making the event a rip roaring success.
