Between now and March the Creative Skillset, the industry body responsible for training and skills across creative industries, are evolving their Digital Skills Strategy

The research and strategy will cover:
•    the digital business drivers in the UK today;
•    the needs of the digital sector; and
•    the state of digital training provision in the UK.

To enable the right provision to be made for digital skills in the creative sector Creative Skillset are welcoming input to a short online survey http://bit.ly/DigiSkills from creative sectors (Advertising, Animation, Computer Games, Facilities. Fashion and Textiles, Film, Interactive Media, Photo imaging, Publishing, Radio and TV). This survey, combined with further research, will help define the digital skills needs of UK creative businesses and how they are currently being served.

Their objective is to define a digital skills strategy that supports the creative industries sector and identifies further opportunities for us all to help further develop the UK digital skills required now and in the future.

They will be evaluating the online survey results at the start of February, and kindly ask you to complete the survey by this Friday, 01 February 2013.

Many thanks for your consideration.
